Calatrava has a mind of his own about it and finds benches an obstruction in his architectures, so the elder have to stand and wait for the train...

This book was laid out using characters and glyphs from PDF documents obtained through internet searches. The incomplete fonts found in the PDF's were reassembled into the text of Frankenstein based on their frequency of use. The most common characters are employed at the beginning of the book, and the text devolves into less common, more grotesque shapes and forms toward the end. read more on fathom

Last week, we went to this fantastic museum in Hornu. It really was worth the trip, a nice road through fantastic landscapes in the Flemish Ardennes. The museum is an old mine site, where exhibitions of contemporary art and design are held. This unique location and the exhibitions are really great.

It's still nice to discover some new places in your own country, after all Belgium isn't that bad at all.

we love design and art — and when design becomes art we are going crazy. So we are glad that we visited gallery victor hunt in brussels (anderlecht). For us, this must be probably the best gallery we have in belgium. Also the owner is a really nice guy who explains everything very passionated!

Highlights include In stukken (In Pieces), a collection of Eric de Volder’s plays. Only 500 copies were printed, all signed by de Volder, who died shortly after the book was published. Stan van Steendam rightfully deserved this award for the design of this collector’s item in which each play is presented in a completely unique layout and font, to lend atmosphere to the specific content.
